My range of teaching and lecturing expertise has developed over more than thirty years, through my work as a piano teacher, a full-time university academic, and a conductor and musical director for a variety of groups and organisations. I am experienced in working with a range of age groups, from young children to retirees, in various education, amateur and professional settings.
For ACE Cultural Tours, I lead cultural tours to music festivals in the UK and Europe, including Cambridge, Orkney, Berlin, Verona and Prague. My trips cover everything from Mozart to Stravinsky, and from instrumental music of the classical period to romantic and twentieth-century opera.

I am a performance examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), with experience in examining Initial Grade to ARSM in all instrument and voice types, both online and in-person, in a variety of settings.
