My range of teaching and lecturing expertise has developed over more than thirty years, through my work as a piano teacher, a full-time university academic, and a conductor and musical director for a variety of groups and organisations. I am experienced in working with a range of age groups, from young children to retirees, in various educational, amateur and professional settings.
I also have extensive experience in pedagogical development, curriculum design, assessment practices, quality assurance, knowledge transfer, outreach, and cross-arts partnership development.

For ACE Cultural Tours, I lead cultural tours to music festivals in the UK and Europe, including Cambridge, Oxford, Orkney, Berlin, Dresden, Verona and Prague. My trips cover everything from Mozart to Stravinsky, and from instrumental music of the classical period to romantic and twentieth-century opera.
